Nurtured by Nature

You came by today and it was so good to see you.

When you touched me I felt your energy,
the warmth of your soul.

There were many others around but it just felt like us two.

As I looked down, you looked up,
we smiled and we were whole.

Many years together now, today was an important day.

My branches sheltered you and you
took the power.

Invigoration, strength and courage I smelled in your blood, it was a splay.

Your face, the sweetest sight not even the rain
could give a more beautiful shower.

You’ve been a victim too many times, but I’m right here, in between the sea and the silence.

I’ll never leave, and you know that. I’m always here when you come
and I’m standing stronger because you visit me.

When you arrived today again, I was grateful because I felt our special alliance.

There are many stories ahead for you, there are plenty of souls waiting,
you hear their plea.

You acknowledge me every time like it’s our very first meeting, and the aliveness I feel from your presence is purifying and thrilling.

Next time you could stay longer if you’d like, you could wrap your arms around me
and our souls could ignite, that’d be nice.

I could transfer some of my vibration and my deepest wisdom into your veins
and we could see together, the secrets of the future.

You’re always welcome here, I’ll always wait for you, my eyes will open
wider with glee when you approach.

Let’s keep listening to the birds and the breeze together and watch the others buzzing by.

When you’re here, life makes more sense, it’s where you’re supposed to be,
it’s where I am, it’s where we meet and where the Universe begins to listen and coordinate.

Our power together cannot compare, the truths we hold don’t match other realms.

We can choose, we can see, we can breathe, and we can be still,
strong, alone and very free…together.

Thank you for coming today, what a treat. Will you come tomorrow?
It’s ok if you don’t, be free and I’ll wait

To Sway Not

Sit in silence, do not share, do not speak, do not follow those who say it is how to be.
Your body knows what, how, when and where.
The truth will always come when no one is there.
I am here, there, everywhere and nowhere, breath is the answer, let go of the noise, the sound, the chatter, the clatter, the smell of the unwise.

Perforated minds filled with nonsense and scatter.
Swaying your hands to grip what they believe matters.
Sit in silence, observe the feeling, the emotion and the messages unyielding.
Listen I do to the sound of water, only oceans, only waves, only currents, only channels, only drips and splashes directing me inward, outward, dancing alone.

Splatter the landscape with torturous methods to peace, the story is wrong, the way has you fooled.
Seeking guidance is no such thing, guidance and protection, wisdom and worth, not found in any one thing.
Listen carefully because she says this without doubt, without hesitation, but who is she?
She is your angel, your teacher, writing the story to alter what you thought you knew, believed and understood, she does not lie, she brings too much truth.

Shelves full of the same letters, sprawled together in different parts, stating the same, same, same, differences.
Listen not to the letters you can touch. Listen harder to the letters that dissolve the pain through silence, listening, and jumping away from gain.

How many times have you felt the wind and the sorrow of voices full of love and affection yet, hungry for more because the temperature still drops below freezing.
To warm the water, movement and redirection towards the unknown and the words of no one.
Step back from what instructs, what they perceive as perfection and correction, and look to something that isn’t in the realm of comfort or rule.

Forever the same questions, same damage, same outcome, different souls, same path, what if there was another answer.
Believe in what you will, read, talk, forge your path on stilts.
Who decides for you, who decides for them, who decides this is truth?
My truth is not yours, your truth is not mine, choices and actions, choices and actions set you free or keep you caged.

Human is matter, molecule, chemicals of quantum on a platter.
Serve it. Do not turn the page.
Sit here in silence, do not share, do not speak, do not follow those who say it is how to be.
Your body knows what, how, when and where.
The truth will always come when no one is there.
I am here, there, everywhere and nowhere, breath is the answer, let go of the noise, the sound, the chatter, the clatter, the smell of the unwise.

Two Is Enough

Two is enough for me.
If you gave me three, four, six, seven;
I’d simply say, “Thank you, but one is just heaven.”

I don’t know why I look up to the sky.
Maybe because the answers to questions of low;
Seem to always be found up high or higher so.

Busy, rushing, too many, too much.
Why does this game always feel the same?
Same old numbers adding up to more pain.

It’s why I like less, one and two.
Simpler, calmer, easier, intimate and quiet.
My cat used to say, “Emma you and me, that’s it.”

You see my smile, hear my voice.
But you do not see me or hear me and it is quite alright;
I have gifted myself wisdom to remain not small, but full of height.

The light shines brightly, kindly and with soft intention.
My heart is guided in the utmost strangest way now;
I am sorry for the explanation that I have not to know how.

I will not take up space where someone else should be.
My mind and soul have figured out the equation and it has come, with some hesitation.
But question not my intuition strong, I am lightning and thunder, the rain my slippery sedation.

Not nine or twelve or five. Just one or two.
The world is not what they say.
I look at you looking at me and think, “this is an incredible day.”

The water on petals, the dirt on my boots.
The ducks in twos, the sunshine plus one.
Did you hear that? Silence and so many, but also none.

I can’t believe I am here now. Taken so far and so deep.
You reminded me that there is special in nothing.
Then I fell into a sleep and woke up with a perfect and reliable, trusting of something.

The softness fills me. The colour enchants my eyes.
I cry with gratitude and thanks;
I have won the prize.
